OKEA is focusing on a local supplier and extends framework agreement for the purchase of marine services from Safepath AS! OKEA continues to strengthen local businesses in Nordmøre. We at Safepath look forward to new and challenging assignments for OKEA in the years to come.
OKEA is a rapidly growing producer of oil on the Norwegian shelf. The company is located in Trondheim, Stavanger and in Kristiansund and their vision is to be leading in safe and cost-effective development and operating smaller fields.
OKEA will use the best available technology to reduce CO2 emissions as much as possible. The goal for OKEA's operations is to have the least possible impact on the environment. (Source: okea.no)
Currently OKEA is an operator on the Draugen field and a partner in the active fields Gjøa and Ivar Åsen. In addition, OKEA also has holdings in Grevling and Yme, both of which are being developed. (Source: okea.no/assets)
Since December 2019, OKEA has had a contract with Safepath for the delivery of marine services. Safepath works both in-house at OKEA here in Kristiansund, in operations and on vessels and digitally through our specially adapted, green and efficient solutions. We at Safepath hope that it is our future-oriented solutions and the quality of our deliveries that have resulted in the extension of the framework agreement.
So far, we have not provided maritime surveillance services to OKEA, but we are crossing fingers that the opportunity will come. OKEA is a future-oriented and innovative company with its operating organization located here in Kristiansund, just like Safepath. It is important for us who work in Safepath that we manage to utilize this interface between the companies; proximity, quality and efficiency in all our assignments for our good customer OKEA.
Safepath is proud to be a preferred supplier to OKEA and thanks for the trust.
We look forward to further cooperation in the years to come!
