Sidsel is a trained transport economist and has a master's degree in management. She has extensive experience as an independent business owner in the consulting industry.
Previously, she has worked with management, both in the offshore industry and in the transport sector, as well as being employed in the county municipal and municipal administration where she worked with business development.
Sidsel was an active politician for almost 10 years until 2014, and she has also held a number of board positions with public and private actors.

Thomas is trained as an air traffic controller and has a bachelor's in Economy and Administration from Oslo Met.
Before coming to Safepath, he worked for Avinor for 22 years. Here, he had positions such as operative chief, chief air traffic controller at Avinor's control center in Oslo, and leader for production control at Avinor flight security. For the last couple of years, he mainly worked with resource- and business management.
At Safepath, Thomas is the leader of our control center. He is responsible for our preparedness services and sea surveillance.

Merethe has a master's degree in Applied Linguistics and a previous bachelor's degree in media studies and business communication from NTNU in Trondheim.
She has experience in the offshore industry and has good knowledge of the disciplines in which Safepath operates. She has worked closely on various projects relating to emergency preparedness and has worked with safety and security from a communication perspective for several years.
Merethe makes strategic choices for marketing and further development of Safepath AS as a brand both nationally and internationally.

Terje is the founder of Safepath and the brains behind our initial visions, products and services.
Terje is a trained sea captain and has officer training from the Navy. He has over 30 years of seafaring experience in senior positions in Operational Emergency Management (SAR), oil spill protection, jurisdiction, and offshore marine operations.
He has experience from the Arctic and has worked for several periods abroad - including two periods in the training of personnel in Africa (Norad). He has also supervised the construction of vessels in Poland.He also has experience in several leading offshore-related positions on land.
Today, Terje is mainly concentrated with the development and innovations of the company.

Lena has a bachelor's in PR and Marketing Communication together with a specialization in Human Resource Management from BI Norwegian Business School. Previously, she has worked with sales, warehouse logistics, project management, and marketing.
At Safepath, Lena is in charge for the responsible handling of the company's economic matters and that Safepath is run in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and industry standards. Lena has the overall responsibility for economic questions and cases involoving personell.
As Quality Supervisor, it is Lena's responsibility to ensure that Safepath is continously improving.

Kjell Åge has over 12 years of experience in offshore-related activities.
Within offshore, he has experience from rigs and vessels, as a service technician/operator for Halliburton and IKM.
Good knowledge of operations within process and pipeline services, at the same time he puts HSE/HSEQ first in line.
In addition, he has good knowledge in sales and marketing, which comes from customer consulting sales aimed at B2B and B2C.
Kjell Åge has a Petroleum Logistics education from Molde University College and Sales, Marketing & Design from MI Trondheim.
At Safepath, Kjell Åge is one of the value creators, who will contribute to increased safety for those who travel at sea.

Ingvild has a bechelor's in Comparative Politics. During her studies, she had several active board positions. Ingvild has international experience from both the USA, France, and Belgium through various internships and exchange semesters.
At Safepath, Ingvild is responsible for the international department. She ensures good project management and secures quality data from various projects. Ingvild keeps in close contact with both internal and external relations.

Espen is a computer engineer with a bachelor's degree from NTNU in Ålesund, where he wrote a thesis together with Per Christian. He has previously recieved education and trade certificates as an ICT service employee.
In addition to working as an ICT apprentice at Kristiansund Upper Secondary School, he worked at Kontali during the holidays during the last years of his studies. He enjoyed varied tasks within ICT and development.
Espen now works with various ICT tasks having his main focus on software development. He is happy to be involved in the entire process under development and gets a good insight into what the market needs through client meetings.

Per Christian is a computer engineer with a bachelor's degree from NTNU in Ålesund. He has previous experience as a developer at Simployer Capitech, where he worked for one year after graduating.
For the last two years of his studies, he worked as a scientific student in the Visualization Lab at NTNU in Ålesund. The main tasks here were IT operations and networks. He is very concerned with future-proof software development, and wants to contribute with flexible solutions.
Per Christian wrote his bachelor's thesis in collaboration with Espen. They explored and compared different technologies for the development of online services.

His specialization is programming and database migrations, and his skills are confirmed by a Microsoft certificate in the field of databases.

Carmen is an engineer in industry design and product development from the Plyotechnic Univerisity of Madrid. She also has a master's degree in graphic design with a specialization in web development.
Carmen has previously worked in the IT industry. Here, she mainly worked with the making and production of audiovisual content for education projects while also participating in the development of digital learning platforms.

Anton has a Master's degree in Nautics and holds a certificate of deck officer class D1.
As a sailor, Anton has over 10 years of experience along the Norwegian coast and in international waters. He has extensive experience with safety management systems and has been ISM responsible on board several vessels, in addition to the company's ISM and quality manager.
At Safepath, Anton is a supervisor in the control center and contributes with his experience to the development and improvement of our digital security management system.

Kurt is a trained sea captain and
has over 21 years of experience from marine research with 11 years from Africa and the East through Norad.
He has taken the rest of his experience with him from Norwegian waters.
Kurt has also worked as a fisherman and instructor in radio training, GOC / ROC / SRC GMDSS on his own vessel since 2009.
Kurt has been a Safepath employee for over 3 years and is today a part of our 24/7 manned control center.

Jonas spent 2 years as an apprentice for the Norwegian Costal Guard. During this time he sailed bewteen Norway and Svalbard.
As a cadet, Jonas sailed on a wellboat in international waters. Following this, he begun as a first mate on a service boat sailing on the coast of Iceland.
At Safepath, Jonas works as a Control Supervisor where daily tasks include working with preparedness and following up vessels out at sea.

Kjetil Ellingvåg is a tanker man by heart, with seven years experience from World Wide tanksegment in Oddfjell Tankers, Bergen Tankers, Haltbakk Bunkers and Knutsen OAS Shipping. Long travels and deep sea are close to Kjetil's heart.
Kjetil has sailor training from the school ship Gann as well as a bachelor's degree in nautical science from NTNU Ålesund.

Sebatian is a certified navigator from Trondheim Technical Trade School. He has several year's experience from general cargo shipping on the Norwegian coast from Eidshaug shipping company and NSK Shipping. He also has exstensive expereince as first mate and ship's master of high speed passanger vessels for Torghatten Midt.
Sebastian has also worked as a subject teacher in maritime studies at Charlottenlund Secondary School.
Through his expereince, Sebastian has good knowledge of costal navigation, quality management, safety work and vessel operation.

Arne has extensive experience from maritime transportation, and has worked on several vessels as a sailor, mate and chief mate.
Before coming to Safepath, Arne worked 12 years offshore on production vessels. He has in other words, varied and broad experience.
